The beauty of living close to the city is having multiple options of transportation. We can take a train ride and relax on the way in. We can drive and take in the gorgeous city views over one of the bridges. If we feel like splurging with a group of friends we can even take a taxi or limo to ride in with style.
However you make your way to the city that never sleeps, it’s worth the trip. There are so many decorations to make for exciting walks through the busy streets.
I can remember ever since I was little, going in with the family to see Macy’s Santaland in Herald Square. I enjoyed it every year.
As promised, we will have Saks Fifth Ave’s light show here…
Another one of my favorite holiday traditions ❤️
Of course, the famous Rockefeller Christmas Tree is a spectacular sight. We go in every year for this reason alone. The gorgeous tree chopped and shipped from it’s forest to the swarming streets of NYC. Then, every inch decorated by lights and tinsel. The gold and silver flags add to the beauty of the I’ve skating rink and gorgeous gold statue, resting below the tree.

So if you dare to brave the crowds and cold, you will be joyfully delighted by the enchanting city during the bustling family season.
