Huntington Happiness

Top Restaurants and More!

Huntington Village on Long island is an entertainment destination for all! The most well known places in the village include Hecksher Park, The Paramount, and Book Review. The village is very lively in the spring and summer seasons. There is a private beach down West Neck Road (West Neck Beach) and if you keep going a Public Park, Caumsett State Historic Park.

Caumsett Park is a great place for hiking, biking, and picnics. They host events and there are gorgeous historic homes to see along three miles of paved road. You can also take a dirt path all the way down to the beach!

For all the foodies out there, Huntington Village is gold mind! Here’s a list of must trys!!

The Shed Restaurant is a perfect little addition to the village. It serves the best brunch on Long Island, drinks and food. You can come back for a delicious lunch or dinner too. I love their bar and their old fashion mixer. The atmosphere is great! Don’t forget to get a picture with the wings outside.

Hatch is the newest of all the fancy brunch spots we have. It’s painted bright yellow and cute with designs on the corner. There’s a bar you can seat yourself at and regular tables to be sat at. The pancakes are amazing and so are their drinks!

Bistro Cassis is a cute little french restaurant and I love to stop by. They do brunch on Sundays as well. It’s just a warm and home-y atmosphere with tasty dishes!

Mundays is a staple in the village, it’s always been there! They serve huge plates and they’re always mouthwatering. It’s a busy diner atmosphere and very casual compared to most of the village.

IMC does a fantastic brunch with the best drink options out there. It’s great for groups and couples alike. I really enjoy their brunch options and still need to try their lunch and dinner dishes. They’re known for their meats, so I should really get move in trying it!

Little Vincent’s has cold cheese pizza. To be honest, if you haven’t tried it you really are missing out. They make great pizza but they’re known for this specialty slice. They’re cash only so come prepared! I grew up on this stuff and will always come back for it. Delicious!

Thai USA is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. They’re food is traditional, fresh and always enjoyed by my whole family. It’s located in a strange spot in the village but at least there’s plenty of parking right next to it!

Finnegan’s will always be a great spot for beers with friends and an enjoyable evening of yummy bar food.

NY Panini a good stop for a casual lunch or pasta dinner.

Samurai is a favorite of mine. I love their hibachi, the sushi and the drinks are great! I’ve been a fan for many years and have gone back plenty of times. They never disappoint!

BabaluNY is a vibrant spot with colorful interior. It’s cute and the food is so flavorful! It’s nice to have so many different options to choose from in Huntington village. This is a Cuban restaurant and so good!

Bravo! Nader was amazing and I am so sorry to say Covid caused this restaurant to close indefinitely.

Prime will always be amazing. If you’re looking for upscale dining, you found it. They have an thoughtful menu, each plate carefully planned and you can ask for wine pairings. They recently redid the entire inside and the patio is large and gorgeous. Date night, drink night or any night you’re looking for a fun and fact feast, go here.

Radio Radio recently closed it’s doors and the owners opened New Wave Burrito Bar. While I will miss the old restaurant, the new one is still fantastic. The setup is still very similar, the food (although different) is bomb, and the drinks are on point! I would recommend it all.

Rust and Gold is a very fun spot. Great for friends and groups, there is a huge bar TVs inside. They also have a few games for the tables that make for a great time. My favorite part is this is one of the only dog friendly restaurants in the village!

Kashi is a solid sushi spot. They also recently started making these awesome capri pouch drinks. It’s a nice spot with a calm atmosphere, great for a date night or a night out on the town!

MB Ramen might be one of the newest and most popular restaurant’s. They have an really cool mural right out front and plenty of art, anime and cartoons decorating the inside. It’s nice to have an option to sit at the bar or a table. I also like that they have a unique menu, not many ramen spots give fried chicken as an option but it’s delicious! You also have to try the melon soda.

My last favorite, (although I feel like I’ve just named everything in the village) is Punta Cana. I was in love with this spot when I used to go in Westbury and now that they’ve got a location in the village, my heart is so happy. It’s Dominican food and it’s delicious! I always get the cana bowl, you get to build your own. I normally have the baked chicken but they make everything well!

I hope you enjoy a stroll through the cute town. Or a very fun night out and about. Let us know if you like any of our recommendations and if you have any recommendations of your own!

Thanks for reading!

  1. I absolutely love going out to eat in Huntington and Cassis is my favorite. It is so nice that they have set up the tables in the sidewalks due to COVID. This is a great list.
